Starting with the engine, the STS-V features a hand built and fully reworked, supercharged version of the Northstar 4.4L V8, adding 50% new components including a stronger block and new cylinder heads. The resulting 469bhp enables the STS-V to hit 60 mph in just 5 seconds.
Chassis and handling upgrades include performance-tuned suspension, large 255 / 45R18 front and 275 / 40R19 rear tires and serious stopping power in the form of upgraded Brembo brakes. Additionally the car is fitted with a quicker steering rack and the all important limited slip differential enabling the car to effectively put down that power out of the corners.
Aesthetically the car stands apart from the rest of the range too with mesh front grille and aggressive lower airdam, bulged bonnet, unique design wheels (18 "front 19" rear) and a subtle spoiler. Inside the driver and occupants are greeted by olive wood and aluminum accents, and supple leather seating with sporty suede inserts, crafted by German company Dräxlmaier, whose prior credit includes the Maybach 57 and 62.
